Frequently Asked Questions
❓ Why do you charge $85 an hour? That seems high.
Great question. I charge $85/hour for a few key reasons:
1. I'm extremely efficient – I type over 80 words per minute and stay focused the entire time I’m working.
2. You only pay for productivity – Unlike a full-time employee who will only be productive 2 out of 8 hours a day, I work at 100% output for the time you pay me.
3. You're not paying overhead – No payroll taxes, no benefits, no wasted time—just results.
4. I bring experience – This is not my side hustle. I’m a professional with a deep background in administration, compliance, and operations.
5. No Commitment for you.
If you'd like to lower your cost, I offer retainer packages that bring the hourly rate down to $67/hour. More on that below.
❓ Do you offer packages or retainers?
Yes. Most of my clients find that one of my four monthly retainer packages fits their needs perfectly. Retainers start at 6 hours a month and go up to 40+ hours. The more hours you commit to, the lower your rate per hour. Occasionally I will offer a custom retainer if my clients needs are different than my listed retainers.
Hourly à la carte is always available for sporadic or emergency admin needs, but retainer clients get priority scheduling.
❓ Are you a virtual assistant?
Nope! I work in person, not remotely. I serve small businesses and entrepreneurs across Colorado's mountain towns — including Evergreen, Winter Park, Granby, Estes Park, Silverthorne, and everywhere in between. On occasion, I’ll travel as far as Salida, Eagle, or Vail when I can group clients in one trip.
❓ Where are you based?
My office is based in Gilpin County, and my business model is built around showing up, not just logging on. Think of me as your old-school secretary who drives through the mountains — not someone who works from a laptop at a coffee shop.
❓ Where did the name Office Rebel come from?
It’s a nod to doing things differently. I’m not a remote worker hiding behind email — I’m hands-on, in-person, and I go where others won’t. I grew up watching my dad hustle across Colorado as a traveling salesman of Beanie Babies (yes, really). That same mountain-road mindset guides my business: I show up, I work hard, and I get the job done — even when terrain, weather, or location make things tough.
❓ What kinds of businesses do you work with?
1. Small businesses that only need a few hours of admin support per month.
2. Growing teams that need short-term help while recruiting a full-time hire.
3. Established companies looking to offload back-office tasks and focus on their core operations.
I'm highly customizable and can fit into almost any admin workflow—whether I'm running point on a new project or cleaning up after a backlog.
❓ What kind of tasks do you handle?
Just about everything a classic secretary or admin would do. Some examples:
Document drafting & formatting
Typing/transcription (80+ WPM)
Scheduling and calendar management
Filing systems & compliance audits
Email organization
Customer support follow-ups
Recruiting coordination
Operations support
SOP development
And more...
If it’s admin, I probably do it.
❓ How do I get started?
Simple. You can:
1. Book a discovery call to discuss your needs.
2. Choose an hourly or retainer plan that fits your goals.
3. Send over your first task or project. I’m fast, reliable, and easy to onboard.
❓ Why should I hire you instead of a full-time admin?
No downtime. I’m productive from minute one.
No overhead. You don’t pay taxes, benefits, or office space.
No commitment. You scale up or down as needed.
No drama. I’m a seasoned professional with zero hand-holding required.
Hiring a full-time admin in the mountains often costs $70,000 or more + basic benefits per year, not counting recruiting and turnover costs. My packages let you get elite help for a fraction of that, on your terms.
❓ Are you available on short notice?
Usually, yes—especially for retainer clients who receive priority scheduling. For sporadic or last-minute work, just shoot me a message and I’ll let you know my availability.
